Ice Fishing on Zippel Bay

We finally went ice fishing! It was a quick weekend trip (the first weekend in January) to Lake of the Woods - waaaay up north, with our good friends Geoff and Katie. We had a heated ice house, and Geoff supplied all the poles and expertise. After it was all over, we had 13 good size walleyes, and some great laughs!

Here is our modest little fishing house #121 We were lucky to get a 6 person house because they were overbooked on 4 person houses, so we had a little extra room.

Overall, the fishing could have been better, but we had a great time anyway!
