Grandmas Marathon volunteers of the year! Haley and Emily, along with Grandma and Grandpa zumBrunnen were up this weekend. Saturday morning (5:30am) Haley, Emily and I got up to volunteer at mile marker #7 handing out water and ice to the runners. It was so nice out and really warm - good for us - bad for the runners, and the ice!
We all had a lot of fun! The girls did a great job!
After the race we came home and picked up G&G, Sam and Copper to have a picnic. Nick had to work so he missed out:(
We went to Lester park. It was really warm out - about 85 and very humid.
The girls and Grandpa decided to take advantage of the river to cool off.
Copper was excited to get in the water too, but it didn't last long - he tried to crawl up Grandpa's leg to get out! Silly Dog!
On Sunday we slept in - then had Pancakes and sausage for breakfast. Nick, Haley, Emily and I went to tour the Glensheen mansion. Then G&G and the girls headed back to Baxter. It was a fun weekend. I wish the warm weather would have lasted longer!
